The Society for Maintenance and Reliability Professionals

The Society for Maintenance and Reliability Professionals (SMRP) is an international organization of over 30,000 members worldwide. SMRP was formed in 1992 and has become the premier global resource for education and knowledge transfer for Maintenance and Reliability Professionals. The Houston Chapter (HCSMRP) was formed in 2004 and has continued to grow with affiliated members from across the Gulf Coast region. HCSMRP holds quarterly luncheon meetings in the Houston area featuring speakers covering a diverse range of educational topics for Maintenance and Reliability Professionals.

In addition, HCSMRP hosts an annual Maintenance and Reliability Symposium focused on delivering relevant education in the following areas: Business Management; Manufacturing Process Reliability; Equipment Reliability; People Skills; Organization and Leadership and Work Management.

Membership In The SMRP Houston Chapter Requires An Active SMRP National Membership.

Be sure to select “Houston Chapter” on your national application to be properly affiliated. Annual National Dues Are $170.

Rishi Jawahir is a certified CAT IV vibration analyst and Mechanical Engineer with more than 15 years of experience in Condition Monitoring, Vibration Analysis, and Reliability Engineering. He supports customers in developing and improving their condition monitoring programs to enhance equipment reliability.

Operator Driven Reliability

Mr. Le Bleu has served as a maintenance engineer, a reliability engineer, and a startup engineer in a major chemical plant. He has over 35 years in industry. He has set up PM and Pdm programs and has worked on pumps, turbines, compressors and drive systems. He has served on the Pump advisory committee for the Texas A&M pump symposium for 8 years. He now teaches troubleshooting in industry through his company Sage Technologies LLC.
